The purpose of Kanawha Garden Club Flower Show Committee is to organize, co-ordinate and staff in-club flower shows, in-club flower show workshops, and flower shows related to club fund-raisers that are open to the public.
The purpose of a flower show is threefold: to set standards of artistic and horticultural excellence; to broaden knowledge of horticulture, flower arrangement, conservation, and other related areas; and to share the beauty of a show with fellow club members and with the public. Along with hosting flower shows in both horticulture and flower arranging several members enjoy creating simple and creative flower arrangements for their homes, fund raisers and other special occasions. We will continue to update the blog list located on the right hand column of our page for these special arrangements. You may also click on the links below.
